ABOUT US
The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) was founded in 1950 and is a non-profit educational and service organization. SWE's mission is to empower women to achieve their full potential in careers as engineers and leaders, expand the image of engineering and technology professions as a positive force in improving quality of life, and demonstrate the value of diversity and inclusion.

The University of Arizona Section of the Society of Women Engineers was founded on May 14th, 1976. We aim to build community and support for women in the University of Arizona's engineering program through social events, community outreach, professional development opportunities, and mentorship programs. Our meetings are biweekly on Wednesdays and are open to anyone interested in joining SWE!
